Pilot Crushtec’s award-winning Pilot Modular range of semi-mobile crushing and screening products, which have served local and export markets over the past two decades, will now feature Metso crushing and screening equipment as a standard.
This exciting new format will see Metso equipment integrated with supporting structures that are designed and built by Pilot Crushtec at the Jet Park manufacturing facility, CEO of Pilot Crushtec, Sandro Scherf, says.
The traditional Pilot Modular concept, Scherf explains, will remain unchanged in its role, providing an affordable and quick alternative to costly, bespoke and time-consuming plant designs and equipment.
“Familiar with the stresses and strains encountered daily, the engineering team focused on the need to accommodate the harshest working conditions that Africa has to offer. As a case in point, the new generation assemblies are built from heavy duty steel sections, welded to exactingly high standards and assembled with painstaking precision, offering the client better lasting quality at market related prices” Scherf says.
The all new Pilot Modular product line-up includes the Metso C96 and the C106 Jaw Crusher units, which are robust pieces of machinery that can withstand various applications and have been proven at cutting operating costs.
Adding to the Pilot Modular line are the HP 200 and HP 300 Cone Crushers.
“The 200 and 300 are efficient in secondary and tertiary crushing, with the exceptional big stroke, high-speed and cavity design combination, they ensure a constant product grading with very good product shape. The two Cone Crushers also ensure continuous and safe production at the lowest cost per ton,” Scherf says.
Rounding up the crushers is the GP330 Cone Crusher which can function in a secondary position but performs outstandingly well in a tertiary application where the feed rate is uncontrolled and inconsistent.
There is also the addition of three screens which include the CVB1540 Screen, CVB1845 Screen and the CVB2060 Screen. All three screens are user friendly and easy to maintain. The CVB2060 comes with an extra fourth deck making it possible for the customer to screen out four products and use the top deck to circulate material back to the crusher.
