Introduction of LiuGong’s Global Smart Mining Project
The Annual LiuGong Global Conference held in Liuzhou, China, a special event with nearly 500 delegates including representatives from dealers about hundred countries also customers, industry association delegates, business partners, LiuGong management team and staff attending the event both in person and online.
Every year LiuGong hosts the conference with its dealers and customers, sharing the results achieved in the past year and outlining the roadmap for the future, an annual tradition since 2003. LiuGong management team reviewed the 2020 Overseas Business performance and shared its strategy and plans for 2021. In the first 3 quarters of 2020, LiuGong’s operating income has increased by 18.9% year-on-year despite this year’s tough situation. Stemming from that LiuGong Management along with its customers and dealers, revealed and agreed a higher sales goal for 2021.
LiuGong always strives to be closely connected to its dealers and customers. This global conference goes beyond a corporate platform, it creates a valuable place where feedback, dialogue and collaboration take center stage which are immensely valuable to the future development of its Global Business.
This special year saw LiuGong adopt a new, digital first approach to unveil its new products through using Augmented Reality. This allowed viewers to explore LiuGong’s wide range of machines from the Red Dot award winning TD-16N to the powerful 990F excavator. It also allowed viewers who aren’t in Liuzhou to experience the same excitement and wonder as attendees.
During the event, LiuGong also showcased its Equipment Intelligence Management System (iLink) and smart mining solutions – all in a simple to understand and graphical display.
Every year, LiuGong present awards to their highest achieving dealers around the world and this year is no exception. LiuGong awarded many Sub Saharan African Dealers who have shown a consistent and high performance from October 2019 to September 2020. Amongst all developing markets in Africa the performance of South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Ghana has been prominent both for Earthmoving and Forklift, Crane Equipment.
LiuGong started its overseas business in 2003, its global presence has been growing rapidly including R&D and Parts Distribution Centers in every Key Markets and manufacturing facilities in Europe, India and Brazil. Since then, LiuGong delivered over 100,000 machines in more than 170 countries through the dealer network and Key Accounts. LiuGong continues to go from strength to strength in being a leader for the global construction industry.
