FUCHS, the world’s largest independent lubricant manufacturer through its regional office in South African has added to its wide-range of product portfolio high-performance lubricants that meets modern requirements of heavy-duty machinery working in critical conditions such as mining environments.
According to FUCHS South Africa team, some of these lubricants include CEPLATTYN GT 10, TITAN ATF 5668, RENOLIT CSX ULTRA 2 and TITAN UTTO PRO 102 which are technology driven lubricants developed by dedicated professionals.

RENOLIT CSX ULTRA 2, for example, is high-performance calcium sulfonate complex thickened grease best for surface mining and construction equipment applications where a multi-purpose grease is specified.
In this, it can protect and improve the performance of heavily loaded roller bearings and plain bearings in rotating, oscillating, and sliding contact points on excavators, shovels, loaders, dozers, and large haul trucks.
This is made possible as it is formulated with 100% virgin base oils, an optimized extreme pressure or anti-wear additive system, corrosion/oxidation additive package and fortified with a synergistic solids additive system for maximum protection in heavily loaded or shock loaded applications.
These kind of mining lubricants can make a significant contribution to improved productivity in many other applications. They can increase efficiency and reduce energy consumption and associated CO2 emissions.

CEPLATTYN GT 10 on the other hand is a high-viscosity adhesive lubricant for heavy-duty open gears, such as on kilns, mills and driers in the raw materials industry.
Because of its synthetic base oil, new types of additives, and a combination of white, reaction-effective solid lubricants, this product guarantees clients an extraordinarily good wear protection and an extremely high lubricant film stability.
In this, CEPLATTYN GT 10 lubricant has been especially developed for the application on Open Gears under critical operating conditions, such as low-speed kiln drives with increased tooth flank temperatures, mill drives with extreme drive power, and drives which are frequently operated under start-stop conditions.
TITAN ATF 5668 is another outstanding FUCHS lubricant product that has been tailor-made to suit the modern requirements of ALLISON TES 668 and can be used in the corresponding automatic transmissions with maximum drain intervals.
It is a development of selected base oils and state-of-the-art additive technology especially for the modern requirements of the ALLISON TES 668 specification and has passed the corresponding test programme at ALLISON.
One of its main advantages is that it optimizes wear protection extending the service life and reliability of the gearbox.
TITAN UTTO PRO 102 is also a Premium Performance multifunctional oil, especially developed to meet the latest VCE specification WB 102.
It is mainly used in axles, transmissions, and final drives with and without wet brakes or limited slip differentials and it offers an excellent performance when used in wet brakes and reliably suppresses brake noise.
In this, it has outstanding wear protection of bearings and gears even under toughest operating conditions.
