On November 30, 2021, live streaming from Lugo (RA), Change the Game will take place, the international launch event of the GHT5000F, the innovative filter press designed by Diemme Filtration to make the mining process more sustainable, reducing risks and optimizing costs. A crucial factor for all stakeholders in the industry.
It is the largest filter press in the world – plate size 5 x 5 m – but that’ s not all. The GHT5000F has the ambition to become the best ally for responsible tailings management. Hence, the chosen payoff: Mine with Mind.
During the event it will be possible to see the machine in action live, presented and introduced by the CEO Rosario Tagliavini and by Andrea Pezzi, Marketing and Communication Director. There will be important contributions from the international mining world: speakers include Cameron Hore, Senior Tailings Specialist at AngloGold Ashanti (Australia); Steve Busby, COO of Pan American Silver (Canada); Maurizio Orsolani, DWP2/Lucy Project Superintendent at Prony Resources (New Caledonia); and Bryan Ulrich, Geotechnical Engineer/Tailings Specialist (USA).
The event will be closed by a solidarity initiative: the launch of a charity virtual run promoted with the contribution of Giorgio Calcaterra – three-time ultramarathon world champion – to support Green Forests Work, an association that works to restore healthy and productive forests on land previously exploited by mining.
And that’s not all, because an actress from her Hollywood studio will also be present! A person with a family history directly related to some significant experiences in developing environmental awareness within the US mining world.

Live streaming will take place at two different times. The event – lasting 1 hour – will be presented in English, with simultaneous translation into Italian and Russian for the first broadcast (9.00 UTC+1) and Portuguese and Spanish for the second (18.00 UTC+1).
