Barrick Mining Corporation today announced that Sebastiaan Bock has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, Rest of World, effective immediately. In this role, Bock will oversee Barrick’s gold and copper operations and projects outside North America. He will report directly to Mark Hill, Barrick’s President and Chief Executive Officer.Barrick’s Rest of World assets span Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia Pacific. The portfolio currently produces over 2 million gold equivalent ounces per year and is projected to grow by more than 20% over the next three years.Barrick Chairman John Thornton highlighted the strategic value of the region:
