Australian Stock Exchange (ASX)-listed Predictive Discovery Limited says it received the final batch of encouraging drill results including a broad gold mineralised intercept of 56 metres at 1.58 grams per tonne at the Bobosso Joint Venture Project in Cote D’Ivoire.

In a statement released on March 6, the company said 45 holes were drilled to explore six small target areas of the licence area. Predictive Discovery Managing Director Paul Roberts said the results have been so encouraging that further drilling is planned in the course of 2018.

“These results add to the good initial drill assays we reported on January 16, 2018. Two drill programs have now been completed by the joint venture. Both have yielded encouraging results and added to our knowledge of this very large gold mineralised system.

“We remain confident that there are more gold mineralised zones with good continuity to be found at Bobosso – both as extensions to zones we have already drilled on, and as yet untested areas,” Roberts said.

Mineralised intersections ranging between 1.58g and 6.10g of gold per tonne have been found in strike lengths ranging between 100and 300 metres in the Bobosso licence area.

Roberts said the next exploration programme for Bobosso and other surrounding licence areas will be determined within the next few weeks. More drilling programmes, including on the Bira prospect area in Burkina Faso, will take place during the course of the year.
