New truck strengthens national logistic

Vecauto is officially presenting the new Shacman X3000 truck at FILDA, committed to having a robust and economical solution adapted to the reality of Angolan companies in the transport, distribution and construction sectors.

The model will be on display at the company’s stand with technical exhibitions aimed at public and private operators and logistics cooperatives. This new truck responds to the recurring challenges in the transportation of goods, such as the shortage of vehicles, the costs associated with maintenance and the difficulty of obtaining parts and technical assistance in the interior of the country.

Equipped with Weichai and Cummins engines with power outputs of up to 500 HP and a load capacity of up to 120 tons.It is designed to withstand intensive use over long distances thanks to fuel tanks of up to 1,000 Lt. Local maintenance, provided by Vecauto’s technical network, reduces downtime and increases predictability in operations.

“Angola has vast distances and a high dependence on land transport, so the reliability of heavy vehicles is crucial for the competitiveness of companies and the fluidity of supply chains,” says Jorge Neves, director at Vecauto.

The model is being presented as part of an institutional partnership with Shacman, China’s third largest truck manufacturer, with Vecauto operating exclusively with the X3000 model, the best suited to the profile of its customers and local requirements, adding real value to the market.

Participation in FILDA is part of Vecauto’s ongoing efforts to contribute to the modernization of heavy transport in Angola, reinforcing the role of logistics as a strategic factor for national economic development.
