BI offers Makita cordless power-tool solutions from mining to agri

From general industry to manufacturing, workshops, mining, and agriculture, Makita has a cordless solution for all corded tool applications, thereby increasing efficiency and productivity. The premium range of industrial cordless and corded power tools has been distributed locally by leading supplier Bearings International (BI) for the past 15 years.

Makita is a high-quality range of power tools, with over 90 different applications in the 18 V range. What enhances the versatility of the range is that all of the 18 V models use the same battery platform, meaning that multiple power tools can be used, according to BI Product Manager Richard Lundgren.

Popular Makita products distributed by BI include drill sets and cordless screwdriver sets. While the market is price-sensitive at the moment, the adaptability and effectiveness of the range means it continues to be a major brand for BI.

“As our marketing drive accelerates, we hope to access additional opportunities in the manufacturing, mining, general fabrication, and building industries,” Lundgren reveals. What makes such market penetration possible is that Makita has recently extended its product range to cover virtually any power-tool application.

BI is currently offering a special on the Makita DHP482RFE 18 V cordless driver drill, available in a handy carry case, and including two batteries and a charger, through its online Makita store. Lundgren concludes that the online store allows customers to browse the full range on offer from BI, and to take advantage of special online offers only.
