CASE Construction Equipment and its official importer in Algeria, ARC Trucks participated in the SITP 2016, the 14th edition of the International Trade Fair for Public Works and Construction Machinery, which was held in Algiers from 23 to 27 November 2016. The brand was present with a product display representative of its full line of light and heavy equipment including crawler excavators, backhoe loaders, skid steer loaders and compact track loaders.
The full package to support Algerian construction businesses
With this full product line, CASE is able to meet the expected increase in demand for construction equipment due to the government’s planned investments in residential building, airport and harbour construction and refurbishment projects, the reconstruction of 14,000 km of roads and the modernisation of the TransSahara highway that links Algiers to Lagos.
In addition, CASE and ARC Trucks have the resources and organisation to provide efficient and professional support to customers on their jobsites across the country. ARC Trucks, headquartered in the city of Blida located less than 50 km southwest of Algiers, provides all round support to it customers across the country with its 3 sales outlets and its well-equipped workshop.
Mr Karim Aissaoui, General Manager of ARC Trucks, explains: “The SITP show gives us an excellent opportunity to show construction businesses everything we can do for them. At a time like this, where so many large scale construction projects are expected to kick off, they will need to maintain high levels of productivity to keep up with the demand. With the reliably productive CASE equipment and our efficient after sales support, we can help them make the most of the opportunities and grow their business.”
A full line of reliably productive equipment
The CX350B crawler excavator on display is designed and built for durability and reliability. The powerful engine delivers a highly fuel efficient performance and the long service intervals contribute to low operating costs. The high breakout force, increased swing speeds and swing torque result in fast cycle times and high productivity. Safety and operator comfort are a priority for CASE, and the B Series deliver on both counts.
The 570T backhoe loader on display has been developed specifically to meet the demands of customers in the emerging markets who are looking for productivity, versatility and fast return on their
investment. Like the 580T, it builds on CASE’s long history with this product line that includes the world’s first factory-built tractor loader backhoe introduced in 1957. More than 600,000 units later, CASE backhoe loaders are synonymous with performance, high lifting capacity, best digging depth, and great breakout forces.
The SV300 skid steer loader and a TR320 CASE was also showcased at SITP. CASE skid steer loaders are engineered to deliver more torque and power while offering the ultimate in cab comfort. The industry-leading CASE compact track loader delivers power and exceptional bucket breakout force and hinge pin height. Both compact machines offer outstanding performance and productivity combined with the best in operator comfort.
The products on display are a small sample of the wide offering that CASE sells and supports. The heavy line includes fuel efficient crawler and wheeled excavators, compactors, crawler dozers, graders and wheel loaders that stand out for their low costs of operation, outstanding visibility, ease of operation and serviceability. The small to medium lines include backhoe loaders, mini excavators, compact track loaders, skid steer loaders and telescopic handlers that combine high productivity with fast, accurate movements and ease of maintenance.
The CASE offering includes a full line of reliable and highly productive road building equipment, such as its stat-of-the art B Series graders, industry-leading vibratory compactors, and high-performance dozers.
CASE wheel loaders are also greatly appreciated in the market for their reliability and powerful performance, with extremely fast cycles in loading and great efficiency in transport applications – all with exceptionally low fuel consumption.
CASE demonstration truck crosses the Mediterranean to offer full brand experience
For the first time in Africa, CASE will support the event with its well-equipped demonstration truck, where it will be able to welcome visitors and offer them a full experience of the CASE brand. The truck has travelled from Söhnstetten in Germany to the port of Marseilles with driver Daniel Paasch at the wheel. Driver and truck boarded the ferry ‘La Surprise’ and crossed to Mostaganem, enjoying the fine weather that accompanied them all the way to the Algerian port. Once they disembarked and went through customs, the weather turned and they continued the drive to Algiers in the pouring rain, arriving at the SITP site with plenty of time to set up for the opening of the show.
